Most unusual thing I find is , the T1 and T2 had the same donks but the T2 zorsts seem MUCH larger in diameter.
Don't get your panties in a bunch , we still got hand weapons and the fifty!

Thanks guys. I've even seen a kit for a 1:35 model with the dual stacks going into a traverse muffler like an enlarged Panzer iv setup?? Strange

Unrelated to the - exhaustive- discussion of exhausts, but I've always found it interesting that the first photos in this thread showing the Porsche-suspension Jagdtiger; show it with Ferdinand/Elefant tracks. I've read that this was an experiment to find tracks that would not interfere with the Porsche suspension bogies, and that they finally solved the problem by cutting off the inside guide teeth on the stock King Tiger tracks. These tracks can be seen on the Bovington Jagdtiger. Unrelated, but interesting.

Yeah but Herman, didn't the Blue have a good head? IIRC a mate had one on his Torana club racer.

Nissan engines the blue ones. really wasnt the engines themselves but the pistons. The venerable 186 was made like that.
The 202's were bored out 186's and the pistons were made to suit but not reinforced to cope with the bigger diameter.
When stressed the skirts would crack. Not to mention the standard fibre timing gears would strip at THE worst moments !!

The heads by themselves were great, just the con rods, pistons & timing gears had weaknesses.

The Elefant tracks on the Porsche suspension are collectors items alone !
