I posted a picture of what I did to the Vandra turret in case someone wants to try the same. The ring on the hull for the turret is also too thick and must be made thinner from the inside, providing added room for a bigger turret. I felt it looks better and closer to scale.

The loaders door looks great ! (Something really missing from the Vandra kit )
I like your devotion to the wheels and tracks, it gives it a more authentic look. (Lots of patience required their )
