Latest 2.4ghz stock Heng Long Tiger

Post by c.rainford73 »

I finally got around to painting my $79.00 Heng Long Tiger that came last week it actually came with free shipping.

I added some metal parts and stowage.

I wanted to show the functions of the remote and the sound for those looking to buy one. It's something I have been playing with while I wait for parts for two projects. It's not an Ibu2 or a Clark board but it's a pretty nice entry level SoundsetImage

Here's the video link. It's not pro camera work be warned lol....just to let you hear and see.

Very good sound. And I notice the Krylon Red Oxide ! I see I am not the only one that use it as a base primer and the unpainted Panzer colour !

Yes Michael it really does a nice job as a base for my projects. I know the sound doesn't have the range and details of the custom boards but it's a huge improvement over the old Heng Long or Taigen sets. Thanks for checking it out!

Also the turret traverse appears to be proportional. The less I move left or right the slower the turn.

That's a lot of tank for 79.00 dollars.
The sound unit alone is worth that.
Your paint scheme and details make it worth considerably more
Tiger 1 Early Taigen,
Tiger 1 Mid Torro,
Tiger 1 Late Taigen,
King Tiger Taigen (P)
Jagdtiger Torro
King Tiger (H)
King Tiger Torro (H)
Tiger 1 late Torro

Yes the new sounds are very much better than the older versions.
Does yours switch between Tiger 1 and Leo 2 ?
I agree, a lot of tank for 79 bucks.

The sound unit I have was out of a HL T90 so it had KT and Leopard sounds which you can switch from one to the other on the radio handset.
Mine is in Tiger "222" just need to figure out the 3 wires to get the main gun firing.
