Beautifully weathered and detailed Carl, you've done the beast proud. Some very nice touches like the hand-painted markings, braided air intakes, and is that telephone wire in between the exhaust stacks?

Speaking of which; while the sawn-off exhausts look great, it might be worth investigating some kind of baffle in the outlet so the smoke doesn't come out in such a thin straight line. No good having nice thick smoke if it doesn't billow out.

Thanks Raminator I am actually looking into a baffle of sorts for both exhausts in an effort to manage that issue. Originally I wasn't sure how it would work.

I was looking to source a pair of exhaust stack cover flaps and attach them at a 45degree angle to get them to diffuse the flow of the smoke.

I have sourced the best way to get the exhaust to diffuse while still keeping my current exhaust system design from An-Bri

Image

It will allow me to adjust the exhaust flap at an angle causing the smoke to vent about instead of straight up. Thank you for the recommendationImage

Too bad the exhaust flap isn't light enough to move up and down as the Clark tk60 board revs the exhaust pipes

I might eventually go with this setup that I found on the web... Something different

I had some downtime after the Christmas holiday away from home and once I settled down into the most peaceful place in the world-
My workbench I crafted some of the exhaust pipes for my Fehrmann Tiger.

I know they are not going to please the purists out there but I think they are different and unique. Image

I wanted to have the smoke leave similar to my king tiger stacks. So I hollowed out some spare Tamiya King Tiger pipes (I have many spares so no worries on destroying good parts)and added them to the top.ImageImageImageImage
