Newbie from Mansfield

Post by Meatball9584 »

Hi, long time lurker first time poster.

Just got my hands on a HL Sherman. Previous owner sent a 17 pounder barrel with it so it would be rude to not carry on the conversion.

Undoubtedly I'll have lots of questions about what to do next, scratch build or resin hull etc so I'll apologise now

G'day Mr Meatball...............good onya for stepping out of the 'lurk' & into the glaring spotlight of this thing we all do
Pictures please when you can, and never mind the question thing............we've all got them, and if its important enough for you to ask-its important enough for one of us to try to answer it ;)

I cant help much with the Sherman thing(they are like olive-Green Rubicks cubes to me ) but there are plenty of others here that are Sherman-fluent and should be able to point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the quick reply. The Sherman has a bit of family meaning to me. They are a bit boring in standard form I agree.

I have the box.

did some reading last night and came across an American experiment where they placed Firefly turrets on their Sherman hulls. so im going down that route. (wishful thinking)
