H/L STUG 3 INFRARED

hi guys I am now having problems :thumbdown: with my H/L stug 3 infrared version have replaced the old[ rx18] 27mghz ]crystals type] with the H/L 2.4 ghz [second version] with the smoke/ volume switches on the transmitter in place of the 27mghz crystals ,but now everything works except recoil & flash :'( :S :thumbdown: , do H/L make things difficult for us ??? so we have to buy more stuff to fix things that go wrong :crazy: , I am sure they do ? just to keep up the sale of parts ,tanker 242

If I recall correctly, wibblywobbly recently posted on rectifying this problem. I believe that some of the wires need swapping round. Hopefully, he will pick up on this and correct my bland statements.

thanks Richard but I need to know witch two pins the two wires for the gun flash & recoil go to in cn3 on the H/L 2.4 mfu I think they went to pins 1& 2 in cn3 on the old rx 18 unit but I have tryd them both in pins 1&2 & pins 4&5 on the H/L 2.4 ghz mfu & nether way works it is H/L own recoil & flash unit like the bb unit only the infrared one. so if anyone knows the answer I would appreciate it .tanker 242.

hi guys I have sorted out the problem with the stug 3 I simply switched it back to the rx 18 with the crystals & put the H/L 2.4 into my kv1 with taigen recoil & flash unit fitted,so now my tiger 1,pzr 4,kv1, & t34/85 now all work with taigen recoil & flash & the stug 3 works on H/L infrared ,tanker 242 my next project I think will be the panther G when I can afford it , tanker 242.

Can't get enough Panthers if you ask me, I'm looking at doing an 'A' after I finish my Tiger.

have decided my next project will be H/L Sherman /firefly hybrid , Sherman & firefly barrel are on the way to me, tanker 242.
