Nicholas Hi, The very first thing you will need is "BLUEPRINTS" if you go to ----
www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints
Or go to ----
www.drawingdatabase.com
You will be on the first step,
But this is a very large project and while I am full of admiration I wonder if you have thought right through this.?
Shaun.

I think I am about to upset someone

Hello,
I am sorry for this big late.
This wesite is awesome, but I don't see any 3D files.
Do you think I must 2D print and make my own model on SketchUp ?
I can't have a little 3D model ?

Else, thank you very much !
Sincerly,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas, you might find it easier rather than building a tank from scratch to use an existing chassis - it is possible to purchase lower hulls for known models with the advantage that all drive components and electronics are readily available, and then build a variant upper hull. Also you may be better using sheet styrene for parts of the build rather than trying to print everything. If you want to create files for building pieces then you will need to become familiar with some of the free cad software like Openscad to create 3d drawings which are then used to create print files for your printer.
I have used this approach to build a Nashorn - see
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=20527
and it is fairly quick to see some results. You will see on page 3 that I have created cad designs for the gun and carraige which I will print when I get my printer.
I don't think you will find anyone handing out free print files as it is a serious piece of work to create some of the designs so I think anyone would rather charge to print off their designs as once they are given then they become freely available to anyone and all the originators work and time is lost.
Anyway good luck with your plan to build a tank, and I'm sure there will be lots of advice and assistance available from everyone on the site as they are very keen to help and encourage new members.

Hello,
First of all, I am terribly sorry, I didn't saw the notification.
Thank for your help.
Actually, I printed some of tracks. I will command that with an Arduino UNO mainboard.
I made a model about a torsion bars suspension, but it's not so flexible. I think christie suspension is better, what is your mind ?
Thank you for your help,
Sincerly,
Nicolas
