Thickness of PP and brass sheets

Post by Soeren »

Hello there, as I am gonna start nodding my tanks, I wonder what type of material thickness is usually required. Pictures can be quite tricky to guess the correct thickness of parts, because of angles and no proper alignment compared to parts to gauge the measurements. I'm especially asking when it comes to the cable ropes attachments on the back of German tanks, or the spare track holders. I would guess to be 10mm and 15mm. That would be scaled down 16mm or 24mm, respectively. Tool holders and clips for those might be closer to .5mm sheets. What would you do?

Without a second thought I would buy either "VOYAGER" or "ABER" Products simply because I could not hope to come close to their range of PE for accuracy.
I would suggest you look here before making your own,----
