Cheers Mr Painless.
I did reduce the bulb, but the OEM light needs to be cut flush to have the cover fit right, no room for a standard bulb then.
It's better than the frog eye, and can go along with the other anomalies .
Just need to swap radios and screw the thing together

The skirts fit perfectly, she's the belle of the ball now.
This build's before my time, so I'm enjoying catching up!

First build in 35 years of any form, no idea and it shows

I had to drill new spring retainer holes in order to get the suspension sitting right this time, but I reckon I got the front just a bit off, the extra weight of the new gearbox set was a touch more than I estimated the effect would be, but now at least the ass-end is not sagging like a Cougar on a night out in Surfers at 2 am

If I had another JP to do, all the little wrongs would be corrected, and these are a real svelte looking machine well deserving of the full enhancement .

Re: "JAGD"- KAMPFWAGON 173 REDO
Added a bit more "clock" to the front 2 roadwheels on each side to get the stance right.
It returns to level when pulling to a stop and does a small lurch back, just right.
The schurzen give it much more of a lean-mean look, and seem to reduce its height appearance, though this is I assume due to the increased colour infill over areas previously very stark (the top run of track)
A bonus is the way I've made the hangers, I can remove any or all of the schurzen plates easily at any time, and this would make it a gimme that the same will hapen when operating even if I DONT want the damn things to come off
Just the radio swap to do and its ready to roll "in defence of the Fatherland"

That I assure you will not come off !
Its secured to the tow pintle with the handle folded over then fed back into the bucket ears.

Re: "JAGD"- KAMPFWAGON 173 REDO
For no good reason, I decided to make a stowage box..............out of brass, because
Made up cardboard templates, and traced them on brass sheet.
Using a good pair of scissors, cut the shapes out to suit & trimmed/ground where necessary.
Got out the indispensable solder paste & set to it.
Finished with a file & sand paper.
Used small brass tube & dress making pins to hinge the lid, and Bob's ya trans-gender Aunty
Hmm, now its primed, still need to get the green on it, as this happens to be the colour patch in that spot where it will mount.
So more minor weathering and dusting in to do.
Have no idea why I hinged the lid as I have nothing to put in it
