Shermans ARV

I am planning to build a Shermans armoured recovery vehicle from the heng long sherman but wordering how to do it as there is different versions

Research, decide what you want, find pictures plans etc and go from there. The questions a bit vague tbh. You could try using the forum search function to find the builds of Sherman ARVs (there have been several)

If you're using a HL as a base then you'll be doing a M32...
I did one a while ago, although I did convert it to a small hatch hull..

There's also the British ARV 1 & 2. I think they're based on the Ram but I couldn't tell the difference between the hulls. The front hatches look the same as Frankie's so I assume that's the small hatch modification?

I'm looking at doing one like this
I was looking at the heng long as it is the easiest to get hold off and cheapest
