I think it won't work on the new boards, since it was a trick involving bridging the separate receiver board. There's no separate receiver board on the 2.4ghz sets, so, no go, unless You got a fancy SMD fitting bank thingy, a microscope, and acute knowledge of their logical controllers on the new boards.
I tried using the no-recoil boards from that australian guy, but those only succeeded in shorting out everything and shutting the tank down, despite following the -rather meagre- instructions to the letter. I guess stuff/tricks meant for the older RX-18's are a general "no-go"

It works with taigen 2.4 system. Just bind both at same time.
