Do hope that I have posted this in the right place, if not please correct me, Can anybody help sort a problem I have, its this, I would like to move the Hull of my 1/3 scale model CW or CCW but keep the Turret Barrel pointing in the same direction, or vise versa, ie on target, am more mechanical engineer rather than electrical, so if anybody has an idea how I can do this then I would be pleased, I am missing something (problem) but don't know what.

Not sure if I understand the problem. Is your tank electronics not working? If I want to move my tank hull to the right while keeping my barrel pointed at the target, then I give right stick a push to the right while my left stick (turret control) is pushed to the left. I told you I didn't understand the problem.lady.tigger wrote:Hi,

Re: Hull,,Turret rotation
Joe, perhaps this refers to auto stabilisation of the main gun while the tank is rolling ?
But what do I know.?

Hi, This is a complete build from scratch, so really not sure how to do all the electrics etc, how to sync turret with hull movement, have a few ideas, but like to find out it there is a better way to achieve result, what are your thoughts, as you know this is a scratch build, can find lots of information on what happens but very little on how to make it happen, ie wiring, mechanics etc.

OK Mike, now I understand and must hope that someone else can help. Electrical items/systems are my weak point in this hobby. Sorry I couldn't help.lady.tigger wrote:Hi, This is a complete build from scratch, so really not sure how to do all the electrics etc, how to sync turret with hull movement, have a few ideas, but like to find out it there is a better way to achieve result, what are your thoughts, as you know this is a scratch build, can find lots of information on what happens but very little on how to make it happen, ie wiring, mechanics etc.
