Well until I can decide on a camo scheme my JT can go back on the shelf and carry on with Tiger 311.

Just to throw a bit more light(or primer!) on the subject..............

I too am doing my JT in red primer base with a pattern over it to some degree without complete cover.
The standing orders for German Tanks at this time was a base coat of dark green with a pattern over it, factory pictures show a mix of grey and red primer, so the Jagdtiger line producing these things was a bit out on its own.
Looking at simple location, the factory making them may have had better access to the almost non-existent remaining supplies of paint, or, they had existing stock to call on (these were "wonder Weapons" after all) that was allocated to be exclusive for the JT machines.
Interesting they mention the vehicle now in Kubinka, thats the one I am basing on, with reference to a knocked out vehicle picture I posted earlier in my build thread. Primer base exposed and two colours on top of it.
Either way, yours is a fine example and will look a million once you get back to finishing it
