Clark tk24 and speaker with enlcosure

Post by c.rainford73 »

Just arrived from DKLM RC. From China to the states in a week!

Came with their Clark base enclosure with tank model name on it. I have had experience installing them in my empty rx18 plastic base but this one is really solid.

Excellent experience with them

This is the Hooben t55 enclosure I'm going to install in the metal hull of my Tiger I

Nice quality!ImageImageImageImageImage

I have one of those speakers on the list for when I get around to rebuilding my T-55. How does it sound?

I just fitted same speaker and box in my t55. Speaker only rated 5w at 3ohm so okay for low power systems. I've a IBU3 in mine so at 15w amplifier was distorting the sounds on medium to high volume. Lower volume it sounded good. Now swapped with a visaton frs8 speaker

I'm only running a Clark board without an amplifier so it sounds pretty good all the way

Looks like the ones that I print when I do a tank, snug fit for a Visaton speaker. One little tip, most tankers turn the volume up to full, but most speakers are designed to operate efficiently at 80%, so turning it down a shade will lower the volume but improve the clarity.

Most impressed by the quality of the products, as well as the delivery time. These serve to make buying from them all the more tempting ;)
