hi guys, just fired up my tiger after installing el mod , i cant beleive its the same tank , the sound s are awesome, also the driving is so much better, far more realistic, i cant praise it enough, and thats with the hl boards , ive taken the plunge and ordered the elmod prop 6 version  for my pershing, so i can junk all the hl boards, just ordered the chips so i can upgrade the tig as well , went for the graupner jr 6 channel radio

it is nice stuff the only problem they ever had was with the very first TLS and that was because of all the metal upgrades burnt out one but that was a couple of years ago now and a friend in oz helped with the upgrade (it was his that burnt out ) and they kept sending him new bits till it stopped FOC of course

Are you using the Graupner / JR X-412? Does it have the 3-way switches, or twist dials needed by the prop 6?

I've been looking for a good controller at around the £100 mark.

Im also glad to hear the ElMod is good, should be ordering the full set for my Tiger in a week or so.

hasnt arrived yet but it has one 3 way  and a prop dial, i checked with blitz and he gave it the ok

Im looking at doing a full prop 6 in a King Tiger in a few months, so i'll need a radio for then.

I'd love either of the radio's Rivetcounter is selling, but money is just too tight, lol, bloody credit crunch!

Newbie here and ferreting around for ElMod info?

I left a post on another thread, but I will try this one as well. Can anyone tell me what I need to go the whole hog on the Elmod kit? Their website confuses me. My HL Tiger weighs around 3kg, and I am looking to junk all of the HL electronics and install Elmod. I still need the airsoft as I have a Creeping Death turret on it's way!

Hoping someone can explain in words of one syllable exactly what I need to order?

Hi wibblywobbly your tiger weighs 3kg mine weighs 18lb and its not finished yet its called the toe crusher done a few metal upgardes

18lbs??? How the heck do you get a plastic tank to weigh that much? I am assuming it's a 1/16 Heng Long Tiger and not a 1/4 scale Quarry Truck?! I have almost every metal upgrade I can find on my HL Tiger and I am nowhere near that.
