Uro VAMTAC St5 Bn3

Post by toniolillo »

As the title says I started this project, it is a vehicle very similar to Spanish Hummvee, has very similar characteristics in terms of measures. It is a vehicle that the company UROVESA is made entirely in Spain.

This is the basic model

In this screenshot if you look at the side carries an additional shielding, this is the model that I perform,VAMTAC stands for high mobility tactical vehicle , in Spanish : Vehiculo de Alta Movilidad Tactica, It is not yet if you 'll put on the roof a machine gun or a rocket launcher , as will be seen over time
Image
This car 1:18 scale is chosen for this occasion , it measures almost perfect width and wheels are also perfect for this occasion , but I had to lengthen the chassis until the correct measurements for a vehicle in 1:16 scale

Above you can see a template made to the exact measurements to cut the plastic

In this you can get an idea of ??how it will be more or less , I hope you like it , greetings

It's great to see all of these different builds in progress, it seems many in the RC Tank hobby also have interests in trucks, ships and submarines?

Excellent work on the bodyshell, the front end is a work of art.

I have not yet rounded roof profiles and not others because even glued
Image
he Base of the hatch is rotatable as the real vehicle
Image
Image
The of the real model tailgate opens in two pieces as the tailgate of the Humvee, in my model only the top it will open, but I simulated the down tailgate
