Jagdtiger arrives at the front

Post by Tiggr »

The relatively well priced Torro JT arrived yesterday - I got back home too late to take pics, but got a chance this afternoon.
The bb s seem to fire with more force from the 128mm gun on this one.

This is an especially big tank and has a presence of its own.
Obviously, having just been delivered to the front on the train, its still factory fresh and not battered like a cod. :D
That box is big enough to transport any of my Tigers

Ain't that a well made model tank? I just love mine. We need a thread just to show off Jagdtigers, kinda like we have for the Shermans and Tigers. So far I haven't done much with mine on the outside, but the guts are almost complete so it will soon be time to get painting. I already have all my paints and decals lined up, just need to get around to it.

I can't wait to see what you do with yours, Tig.

Thanks Max.
Its a monster of a tank.
The real vehicle is just so OTT you can't help but like it. (Its one of those "so ugly its beautiful" type things).

I've been scouring images from all over the web including German, Russian and Eastern bloc sites, there are few photos which clearly show markings and likely camouflage.
I looked in our sub section but to date there is nothing there.
The preserved JT in the Russian museum seems to be a plausible colour scheme but there are no numbers.....

If you can stand the price you can usually get them on ebay. This is the one I bought to RC with a Losi crawler

You can still find the ETO static version and the Tamiya RC version but they cost even more.

She is a beast I have a Heng Long KT that I just converted to a Jagdtiger. Has the Clark tk 22 board and Visaton speaker. Great presence for sure with these hunting Tigers. I will post some pictures as well down the road. [THUMBS UP SIGN]

A short clip (I didn't have time for a more thorough set up).

I'm sure the bb s would fly well over 25m if I took the tank on a field
