I'm really glad she arrived safely. Did you find the MG34 in the lid? And where are the spare track links in the front? I'm sure they were in the box, maybe hiding in the liner or something?
Oh yeah, I have some spare hinges if you ever need any, but i replaced all the bad ones when i first got it and haven't had any trouble since.

When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

And I hope you never paint it! I think it looks good in bare metal. Different, ya know?

I hate to be a pest, Mark, but I won't stop worrying until you say you have the spare track links that go across the front of the tank. They're missing from that photo, and I need to be sure that you have them. If only everyone you ever bought tank stuff from was that paranoid about you getting everything, eh?
I always thought that if I planned to do a lot of hard running with it I might be better off with Taigen tracks, sprockets and idlers. Be sure to keep an eye on the tracks so the pins don't work loose. They hold really well, but it always pays to be vigilant. The Mato tracks are a bit different and need a little extra attention. Nothing you can't handle, and won't find routine.
Hmmm, hope I'm not becoming a poster child for paranoia.

Re: Mato all metal Panzer III
Please report back on how it goes with this. It's been on my list of wants since they first released them.
Re: Mato all metal Panzer III
Any particular questions? The only thing I didn't really care for was the track/sprocket/idler system. I think if I wanted to drive it hard I'd change over to the taigen stuff. Other than that it's a really great little tank and I highly recommend it.billpe wrote:Please report back on how it goes with this. It's been on my list of wants since they first released them.
