The one thing I notice at these shows is how the re-enactors always seem to have an incredible community spirit, it's great to see them dressed up and acting the part, though I am not too sure how filling the beer tent was a part of German WW2 strategy?

Where else could you get Redcoats and Romans rubbing shoulders with (unfit-looking) German Heer, and SS, except in the Garden of England, eh?
I also liked the 'keep your arse off the grass' sign by the saddler's tent
How quintessentially British, eh?
Looks like a great day out.. and thanks, Paul, for sharing it with us.. Reminds me of the years I spent going to Warbirds days at West Malling, Duxford, and much further afield..
