JimBob's rc tank experience...

Post by 43rdRecceReg »

Though it's not been updated or added to since late 2013, or at least the rc tank section, JimBob Wan's website is an intelligent and entertaining exploration of the sorts of things we chat about here: from installing Clark's TK22 to modding a bog standard Heng Long; finding the best radio etc.,..and he also reopens the contentious Tamiya versus the Rest debate..and much more. I've found a few references to his stuff here as late as last December, so he's obviously known to the old lags on the forum, but for newbies he could be a great mentor. He also rebuilds guitars, and has a diverse and bizarre range of interests 8O - and so that makes his website, for me at least, an interesting diversion...
He's worth a click, I feel  ....

That website is a fantastic reference and has taught me a lot over the years. It's still my go to site when I need a refresher on the finer points of programming my Turnigy 9x.

Another Jimbob's fan here to. Bookmarked and read several times.

A shame he's not into tanking no more ( ? ) With all the New stuff out now, I would loved to see where he could have taken the page to further
