Says it's been removed
Re: Slow forward, fast reverse
Does it make the noise when you're not making movement? Is it movement from the drive motors or any movement?
Re: Slow forward, fast reverse
Only when moving the turret and main gun.
I'll check on the video link. I sent the same one to the vender per his request.

And to clarify, the noise happens even when no servos are plugged in. And yes everything is plugged into the correct sockets.tomhugill wrote:I've found this sort of noise is usually caused by an unhappy/stalled servo. I suspect the issue with the controls are a combination of radio/plugs/card settings and is something that could be solved easily in person but difficult to do via PC.Jay-Em wrote:Beeping is a bad sign. sounds like the IBU's audio Amp is busy dying. Or worse, the logical unit /cpu. The wonky controls and the impossibility to fix it without jumping through hoops is bad news.
If I were You, I'd get the thing back to the supplier asap.
Sounds more like the audio driver is experiencing bleed over when signal is introduced from the receiver.

All I can hear is the noise it's supposed to make dude, the noise for elevation and the noise for rotation

That "horrible beep" is just the standard noise for turret and elevation that comes with the rather "mêh" soundset of the IBU 2 ran over absolutely garbage speakers. That pants speaker in the Heng Long, also makes sample noise, that inevitably will enter when using 22000khz 8-bits, worse because they are mid-high heavy, and get stressed very easy with a bit of amp-power.
You better start learning how to use Audacity, or any other sound-modifying package, to make Your own. Otherwise You're stuck with this, or slight variations of it that come with the stock sound-package of the IBU 2.
Oh, and "beep on creep" is just the noise of the speed controller's high switching frequency. Nothing you can do about that, short of getting a sabertooth 2x12, a lot of servo's, a Beier Dynamics sound module, a couple of remote switches, a remote poti (for volume) and make your own controller set.
