So it was able to take the paint without destroying it, good, that's what I will do then. Thank you.

I returned from my 50TH HS reunion Sunday morning and slept most of the day. But worked into the night and got a few more things done.

And then these showed up in the mail/post today. Thanks for the idea Herman

Ooh nice tracks!!

Ostketten?

Really does look nice. I have enquired about one but it's just too much to swallow at the moment. I'll probably get something else instead.

Thanks Ad, it's coming along. Track info below.
6T030 Panzer IV Winterketten by IMPACT. Great details and running characteristics for Tamiya Pz IV and Heng Long Pz IV. Set includes spare tracks and links.

So, if you're not happy with your paint work, you start again.Image

And then you get a better (in my opinion) job. I didn't leave separation between the colors before and I felt I needed to correct it. So what do you think, before or after?

Thank you. It might be an illusion, but it looks like it has a lower profile.

Tracks painted and installed. Almost there, now for the dreaded weathering, I'm not very good at this part. Also, you can't use the track armor, except for the two center panels, with these tracks. I like the tracks however, very light for metal tracks and they fit and run very well.

Those tracks are tuff looking eh !
I will look for pictures but I thinks yours might be on backwards.
Got pics somewhere that might confirm either way.

I reckon those Winterketten tracks add a certain presence to the normally narrow look of the Pz III,IV series.
Maybe because we are so used to looking at Tigers, Panthers and Kings.
