yesterday my new Hen Long TIGER Tank arrived the instructions do seem a bit odd in relation to the batteries for the Controller
and it says in the instructions 8 Batteries mine has 6
I'm not nitt picking just wondering why they don't like DURACELL AA batteries
should I just forget it I don't want to blow some thing on the controller on my new TIGER
Stewart
Am I asking in the right place

Don't know about the Duracell, but the transmitter pictured in the instructions look like an old 27MHz job, whereas I guess the new one is the modern 2.4GHz. I seem to recall my old crystal transmitters used 8 batteries.

Tamiya Tiger 1, Taigen FlakPanzer IV,Torro M16 half-track, Tamiya Panther,WSN/Torro T34,Taigen M41 Bulldog,H/l/Taigen Sherman M4A3,H/L T90, Haya M3 Grant, Metal Origins 234/2 Puma, Nashorn by Alwyn. I was only going to have one tank - honest!
Not had any problems with the 6-cell units (I'm using rechargeable). The 8-cell ones are awful if the cells are slightly smaller than whatever they use in China.
Well the batteries I have fit just fine and they are DURACELL.
I think that the Maplins ones, will be tight they are in my RC Helicopters
according to the advert it's a brand new TIGER Tank
but like you say the new controller uses 6 batteries
so now I'm happy that some one has answered
Stewart
Yes Herman there's 3 that are RC but did you forget the one that set me back on track and did you or have you seen the photos from my cabinet
I'll be in stuck if I put them on this bit
