I would like your opinion on the spectrum DX5 radio,if that is the model.Am considering that set for my 1/6 scale TIGER-I and don't know much about the heli hobby but seems you have a nice bird their.Sax

The one in the pic is a DX6i. The DX5e is basically the same thing, but with one less toggle switch.

Saxondog Hi,
I have a Spectrum DX6i and I use it for all my R/C Aircraft (Fixed Wing) But I use a Turnigy TGY 9x for my Tanks because all my Armour have after market control boards which need either slide or rotary VOLUME controls and the DX6i does not have that facility whereas the TGY 9x has two rotary controls on it.

I had a few trex 500's a couple of years back.one in an ah1 bodyshell another done as air wolf with retracts etc and a 3D flying one.ill look for the pics later.
