Bonjour tout le monde
Hi guys - I've had a couple of Heng Longs for a while now, but now my son is old enough to play with 'em, I'm going to have to reacquaint myself with the guts of them, as I think he's already taken some teeth off the turret mechanism of my King Tiger, and is mithering me to resurrect my Jagdpanther too. Time to get the precision screw-drivers & wallet out again, I guess?

Heng Long King Tiger, Jagdpanther... so far.

Yes mate- it is !
As a Kiwi, I am curious as to your screen name
We New Zealanders tend to be more, um, 'affectionate'; towards the ruminant quadripeds known as sheep
Ok, that enough sheep-jokes.................
Welcome along & show us how you get ahead on your builds.
Cheers

It's a worrying thing, but the name was a random thing that just popped out of my psyche. Gulp
I'm in the UK, although dangerously close to that there Wales.

Hi SheepStrangler
No sheep jokes, just a warm welcome to the forum.
But if you have any photos you want to share us.

Hi, and welcome SS! Presumably (and based on a nudge.. nudge.. wink.. wink.. example of stereotyping)..if you were across the border in Wales, you'd probably be known as 'SheepSh**ger'SheepStrangler wrote:It's a worrying thing, but the name was a random thing that just popped out of my psyche. I've always been slightly bemused that our Welsh cousins were so proud of being 'welsh', as that's from anglo-saxon term 'wealas', or 'foreigners'....cf. with German 'kauderwelsch. meaning 'double dutch' (foreign in that sense). Looking forward to some posts and pics, but not of terminated woolly ungulates
