Its the wsn/torro tiger 1 ive never owned 1 but there are a few on the forum who have so perhaps they could recommend it or not.

Cannedheat that's good to know I'm not to fussed ref smoke my UP OGauge Challenger train uses chocolate smoke do you have a short or long video of the one that you have it would be nice to see one in action rather than just buying the tank and not being happy with it if you get my drift Sir

could that be a differint one to the one that is for sale I thought that it did not have full recoil just the barrel went in and out I like it very much

I think the newer 1's are 2.4ghz but canned is right heng long are more popular and have a lot more spares and upgrades available. Heng long did use to make a brown tiger 1 but the trouble is finding 1

I found this on Gum tree it was £30 and according to the lads Dad the son broke the TX unit within a few days after Christmas all it needed was the left side control lever putting back in the 4 way universal that said he lost the back of the TX unit and the Antenna and I'm not to sure what the three buttons near the base of the TX unit do and I took 3 screws out of the base but there's lots under the Hull

I was hoping it had sound

Forgive me but I am slightly puzzled about your attitude to the paint finish on the Tanks you have seen,
Almost none of the Tanks on sale have an accurate paint finish,
This raises some points of importance to me. I have owned and built many Tanks from different sources and without exception I have repainted them all,
Tank building, depending on how far you want to go, can be challenging, but Painting is the easier side of the hobby and it has the unbeatable advantage of being YOUR Tank when you have finished,
There are many sources of reference if accuracy is your aim.
The only important thing to do is you must first clean the whole Tank with Acrylic Thinners using a lint free cloth, Then as with any thing else, you mask those things that cannot be removed,
If it is a Heng Long Tank all the external tools simply POP off, then using a hairy stick or a rattle can or an Airbrush you apply a primer then a topcoat or two. all the time reminding yourself that most Tanks were painted in the field by the Tank crew using rags and a yard broom,
Give it a go, after all Acrylic paint is water soluble and can be easily removed if you don't like the finished artwork.
