Hi everyone. I have an Ibu2 Pro fitted in my airsoft Panzer III. I would like to know if it is possible to do something to synchronize the shoot and the sound, because Its impossible to do it with just configuring the spring winding time. I dont know, maybe an expert in electronics here knows how to do some kind of switch.
I hope the new Ibu3 comes with that factory fixed.
Thanks!
Ibu2 Pro and airsoft.

Re: Ibu2 Pro and airsoft.
Hi all...
I have a HL Leopard 2a6 and I'm installing the IBU2 Pro. All works fine but the timing of the airsoft/cannon fire sound is off.
I've read that the airsoft timing should be set to 1500 - 1750 but it's still way off.
I would appreciate if anyone who has synchronized this, please tell me the best timing.

Re: Ibu2 Pro and airsoft.
My experience is that it was impossible to get the exact timing. Sometimes it winded the spring too much and sometimes not enough. I tried a lot of different timmings but I found that every shot was different. So im afraid I ended selling my IBUs. Sorry

The new firmware has made it sync properly using the microswitch.

As far as I know the updated firmware is the IBU3, not the 2.tomhugill wrote:The new firmware has made it sync properly using the microswitch.

That's correct IBU3 now supports the micro switch firing sequence.Rad_Schuhart wrote:As far as I know the updated firmware is the IBU3, not the 2.tomhugill wrote:The new firmware has made it sync properly using the microswitch.
Best solution for IBU2 with out reworking and rewiring your tank.
1 - Disconnect airsoft and connect to tank battery and time how long it takes to do 10 full cycles, divide by 10 and that is the time setting to put into the IBU2
2 - with the airsoft still disconnected using the battery or a lower voltage battery is better power the airsoft to the point just before it fires. Lower voltage battery is better because runs slower and easier to find the spot.
This is effectively manually syncing the two, but as long as the timings from 1 is accurate then it should always stop at that spot just before firing, so when the IBU2 sends the fire signal, plays sound etc it will be in sync.
