Brizo58 contact( Tankbear ) on here and I'm sure he can sort all your needs out,he's amazing to deal with and knows the Turnigy 9Xr Pro inside out and supplied mine so maybe able to sort you one out regards Andy

Hi Tom,
Yep did look at it and consider getting one but Hobbyking are doing the 9XR pro for just over £50 +post so I will go that way. I will ring around the family and see if one of them can download the firmware onto a micro sd card for me??. This seams to be my only way at the moment. Failing that will have to buy a laptop. If you have trouble getting it sorted Brian the cheapest way avoiding a laptop purchase would be to post the memory card to me,I'll do the file transfer and post it back same day.
Or get the ibu and 9xr pro in your hands and we could arrange a meet up and I will bring a laptop,that way I could give you a guide around setting up the ibu at the same time. :thumbup:

Yes that's no problem Brian.
I don't know what the best module is,I've gone for the turnigy dsss one.Still waiting for it to turn up from China,it's due any time in the next 2 weeks according to the delivery dates on the tracking.

Is it not available in this country?. I think I've seen that on the Hobbyking US site. Is this the one that's not legal in the UK? something about the power band?. Brian...

Honestly I wouldn't worry, the old futaba m series was so powerful you could light a lightbulb off the antenna (supposedly) I know sub guys still use these without issue.
