Nice work Spartan - I reckon you just needed some weathering to vary the finish.
Thanks Herman, I'll press on bit-by-bit. Multiple layers seems to be the trick.

Good thing about winter white wash is it was almost without fail applied by hand by either crew or support outfits.
The only consistent thing was its inconsistency !
No set outcome really, and its your tank, so as long as you are happy with it-thats good enough
We are our own harshest critics, and pleasing ourselves sometimes is the hardest..............

Continuing on with the Panther practice kit, I laid down the colour in several coats.
It was hard to know whether it is white enough - it really is difficult to tell yourself to stop adding colour before you lose the pre-shading.

What’s this??

It seems you can’t modify weapons without some megalomaniac trying to meddle in it...

Quick advice Mr 'red-head' !
Shave a bit off the top face of the hatch location plates that fit over the lugs inside the hull and this will raise the hatch hinge pivot point.
The hatches are supposed to be at the 2 oclock (or 7 mins past 1 !) to stay open on the flats they have milled on them.

HAAaaa thats gold mate !
I never did the drivers vision block on my white tiger, and its a regret.
I bought one from Tankarmy just in case I do get to do a Fehrmann 05

Nice work! Did you cut out the vision port block? Or, is that an aftermarket part?
Looks like a very clean cut...like it was actually made that way.
