My Panzer III and Tiger I

Post by SteelAce »

I just finished up bluing the tracks and painting some barrel marks on my PzIII today and decided to take it out on a drive on my backyard battlefield I am currently making. I think I put the tracks back on in the right direction lol

I am still waiting on my parts to come in to put the Tiger I back together so no pics of her today. But here are some of my PzIII

Good afternoon,
I'm loving the battlefield and the action shots of your Pz III! Your tracks are indeed running in the right direction as is the build of your 'German Workhorse'.
regards,
Painless

Thanks Painless! Once it cools down here I will be finishing up the rest of the battlefield and will show some more pics of it.

Jon for some years there was great debate as to what was the " right way round" for PZ111 and PZ4 tracks but if you do a little research you will discover as a number of us have, Photographs that in fact show they were being used in either direction :lolno:
But for all that I do favour the upside down triangle effect on my PZ4s
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Most the picture I have seen are going either way as well, but most the PzIV pics have been the way you describe as are most the stugs.

Thanks Kevin, it was my first time actually doing any customizing to an R/C other than bolting on parts or painting a lexan truck body. Really proud of how well it turned out. Now I just have to order a taigen lower hull, gearbox and road wheels for it and she will be golden.
