Tamiya Volume Control
I need to lower the volume of my Tiger for its appearance in public on Sunday. Can some kind soul tell me how.?I believe there is a control somewhere on the DMD/MF units, but they are fairly well buried.

There's a small white pot on the mfu about half way along, use a small flat head screwdriver to adjust

Thank you - I could not see it at first inspection.

Re: Tamiya Volume Control
Tamiya provides a small plastic screw driver with their kits for that purpose, I stuck a metal blade driver in my Pershing and the tank shut down. I only use plastic now.

I wondered what that was for - thanks for the tip.

Re: Tamiya Volume Control
Richard I learnt a long time ago that NOTHING in a new Tank box is in there by mistake or is just packing,
When I got my first Taigen Tiger 1 in amongst the other bits and bobs was a small "Z" shaped piece,
I came very close to throwing it out,
It was some time later after doing a bit of reading on Tiger 1s that I discovered it was what stopped the hatch in the early model cupola from breaking its hinges when it was fully open

I think I am about to upset someone
