Re: Splitting KV metal road wheels
As far as I can tell they are pressed together - rather tightly , in a similar way to other aftermarket types . You could try prising them apart - CAREFULLY with several thin wedges simultainiously . the 'early' style look very thin and fragile but 'Late' ones are a bit stronger .
Why do you want to split them ? Blimp.

to the bouncy room ! Yay !

My kv metal wheels are just pressed together and the idlers have 2 little screws in each.

One of my road wheels came apart in use..... They look to be a press fit, with (I think) a locating lug. Suspect some gentle persuasion will be needed as no doubt they'll not want to split due to Murphy's Law.

If they're anything like the T-34 wheels, they may be superglued together. I had to squeeze some debonder into the gap between the wheels and apply plenty of elbow grease to get them apart.
