Track tension

Post by Jimigood »

Got my new motors in and added a steel baseplate to the gear boxes. Now I need to tackle the track tension problem. It's either to tight or to loose, no in between. Anyone know of a proper solution? It's a HL Leopard 2a6.

I don't know if Henntec makes an idler system for your tank but I use them and they work very well. Here, this is from the ETO Armor site.

HT052 Idler system for Heng Long Leopard 2. It is of metal and track tension is adjustable for each side. Instructions included. $50.70

Think I found an easy solution for now.

I then removed one section of track. And it kinda put me in the middle of not to tight and not to loose.

I may go this route in the future. As of now I'm saving for a ibu2 pro setup.
