Hi all thank you for the well wishes, I have been let home from hospital but i have deteriorated over night and think I will be back in hospital before the days out, I have a dead right leg from a botched spinal op in 2011 but the leg is producing clots from it keep going cold, My lungs and legs have been filled with clots so they have put me on a new trial drug that busts clots and keeps my INR stable, but it seems things are not quite write, One of us will try and keep you updated and I hope to be back in my workshop soon kind regards Andy

Andy,
Take care and come home to your tanks, a.s.a.p.! Watch those over powered blood thinners. Every time you nick a finger, it'll be like an Anime Blood Fountain scene. If it gets you home safe and healthy tho' , worth the risk.
regards,
Painless

Hi Guys just an update for those that don't know I've had 10 major spinal op,s, One of which was botched up in 2011 and has left me with spinal problems, Nerve damage has left me with right foot drop, constant severe pain (morphine and Diazapam amongst others daily), Last October I had to pack up work as I started having spinal seizures and now I've lost use of my right leg from the knee down,a couple of weeks ago I was back in hospital for some time as I had dozens of PE,s in both lungs these are being caused from the lack of circulation and the leg being dead, I have now herd that the way forward is likly to be amputation.
To say I'm scared as hell is an understatement ,yesterday I decided to stop work on the tanks as I could not focus,I'll put yesterday's final pics up to where I am so far,but with all this going around in my head it's pointless to continue So if this happens I will be away from this site for Some considerable time but I will let you know if and when regards Andy

Spartan,
Go forth and conquer! ( Seriously, do what the Docs say and you'll be fine. Medicine has gone a long way past the days of the Civil War surgeon. Pretty soon they'll be able to grow new gams from stem cells ) Be safe, your tanks and the crowd here will be waiting when you return.
with all regards,
Painless
