hooben elefant and tk22

Post by wadsworthj »

Hi There.
I have a elefant kit on the way and wish to install a clark tk22 board in it.
as clarks seem to do most tanks, but not the elefant would any tk22 board do for sounds etc.
or should it be a heavy tank like the tiger 1. etc.
the elefant also has its own recoil gear fitted ,is there any known problems with the tk22 and the hooben recoil gear.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers Wads.

Should sound like a panzer IV engine from memory. Didn't it have two of them?

Hi.
Thanks for the info, as it is only a model of the real thing, I am not fussed, but it helps to get near as possible to it.
Many thanks .
Cheers Wads.

Twin hl130 engines, generators and motors to drive the tracks. So PZ4 engine is more accurate but Tiger or JP has closer gun.

But to be honest which ever you go for I doubt anyone will complain it’s the wrong sound.

I guess if you have an IBU then you can combine the two (PzIV engine and KT 88mm)......... :-)
