Hub Caps & Smoker

Post by Challenger2Pete »

Hi All, i'm on the home staight now just a few bits to attach inc the hub caps as I don't want to glue them in case I want to take them off or are they a decent tight fit?

Also when putting smoke fluid in do I have to put it in both sides or just 1?

Plastic ones have a pretty good fit, the metal ones are good for the first time but could work itself loose after that. If it is metal you could try supergluing little magnets into them and it will hold to the mounting screw.

Smoker fluid only needs to go into one. It is same same sponge and reservoir.

I've never had plastic so can't help you there. But the metal ones I've found a drop of Elmers Glue will hold them on and they stay put till you pry them off.
