Hello Everyone
Well joined to read about RC tanks. Getting one soon! Not sure which but this is good place to start. Looking forward to reading all hints, tips and stuff on site from people who know about tanks and stuff.

If you do decide to buy a Tank,
PLEASE I BEG YOU,
Go to "FORUM" and click, then scroll down until you get to the "BLACKLIST",
Read the names,
You will see some that you recognise, these names are not here because these people are mad axe murderers, but members of this Forum have had a less than satisfactory service
If you choose to buy from these vendors and all is well then please tell us and if something goes wrong and the dealer fails to satisfy your reasonable and lawful expectations then again please tell us,
Of course you could just go to the recommended Vendors site and be treated fairly and any failings will be sorted out in your favour expeditiously,
I hope you enjoy being a part of the Forum,
Please ask lots of questions we thrive on them, although I cannot guarantee the veracity of all the answers,

Welcome to the forum.
A lot for you to check out and help you with your choice of tank, but do follow the advice given by jarndice, look at the blacklist.
There are trusted people to buy from on the forum too so check them as well.
