Half Track Surprise

Post by fury »

While out walking I found this Half Track standing in a junk yard so I had to take a photo. A great find. :D

I'm going to have to throw a BS flag on this play Mr.Fury. ;)

That looks more like it's a restored on freshly built 250, it appears to have a newer BMW parked next to it on the road. Not to mention the motorcycle with sidecar still sporting the spare tire.

If you wanted the junkyard story to work it should have been with a bunch of old junkers or shoved up to the woodline.

Any more pics?

No you're right it is a halftrack, it's a German sdKfz 250 halftrack. At least from what I can see.

Thought you were making a joke post saying it was at a junkyard, wasn't trying to be rude. Apologies if you took it that way.

I'd say who ever works at or owns the junkyard would be the owner of the halftrack.

Its fine mate I can understand why you thought it might have been a joke but thanks anyway for helping me with regards to what vehicle it is. I think who ever owns this halftrack is lucky. :D

I saw that halftrack at Pickering either 2015 or 2014. Fully operational, and she participated in some of the events.
