Hi, Before you change the Tracks you might want to turn the Main gun Mantlet through 180 degrees because right now it is upside down, (the Gunners vision ports should be on the other side of the turret) and the Cupola is in the wrong position just as just about every 1/16 Tiger 1 cupola always is until it is modified, and of course another fault found on all 1/16 Tiger 1s, the two spare radio aerial holders on each side of the engine bay,
There should only be one on the left side of the engine bay(Looking from the front),
It annoys the devil out of me that after all these years the makers of Tiger 1s whether it is Heng Long, Taigen, Torro, Trumpeters in fact the whole gang just keep on doing it wrong,
And we if we want it to look right we have to fix it, although it has been a few years since I saw an upside down Mantlet, they used to be all the rage once upon a time,
By the way these are all easy fixes and the way to resolve them can be found on the Forum.
I am not trying to put you off, more like I am softening you up for the discovery that no matter what 1/16 Tank you get it will come with built in faults for you to fix.
Shaun.

Re: 1/18 scale tiger treads
The problem is not that i dont want to fix it, the problem is the scale size is not 1/16 but 1/18

Re: 1/18 scale tiger treads
At the risk of asking something you have probably checked - is there anything to indicate who made the tank? The reason for asking is that even in 1/16th scale, one manufacturer's product will not necessarily fit anothers. As a side issue - the whole under-assembly is the wrong way round. The drive sprockets should be at the front of the tank and the idlers at the rear.
I have found this which has the same problem and looks very similar, apart from the paint job.
