I have just installed a new board in a tank, and obviously needed a receiver to hook up to it. I had a bag of Flysky receivers that I bought in a bargain auction last year, so I pulled them out.
I then opened the Flysky manual and followed the binding instructions, basically:
Plug the power lead into the BAT socket.
Plug the binding cable into channel 3.
Switch on tank.
Hold bind button down on tx and switch tx on.
Nothing, no lights, nothing. Hmmm...
Off to You Tube to find a video that even a retarded baboon could understand, and sure enough there were these guys doing exactly what the manual says and, presto, theirs was bound.
I went through four receivers, two tank boards, and two sets of channel wiring and no joy with any of it.
I cross checked everything and it kept coming back to the receivers...were they duff? ...all of them?
I then clicked on another video, and this one was different.
Plug the bind cable into the BAT (top) socket.
Plug the power into channel 3.
Switch on tank.
Hold bind key down and switch tx on.
Bingo, flashing led on the rx, and it was bound.
Switched off tx.
Switched off tank.
Switched it all back on again and everything worked as nature intended. The strange thing is that I don't recall doing any of this the last time I bound one of these receivers, I simply followed the first video I found, which was the same as the manual.
So if anyone else is pulling their hair out with the binding...this may be your solution.
