HL Sherman road wheels; Sprung?

Post by BarryC »

Hi Guys,

Are the road wheels on the OOB HL Sherman sprung? I am getting mixed thoughts in reading different posts!

Do you mean the suspension? If so yes it is. The Mato plastic ones just pivot.

How does the Mato one cope with uneven ground then?

Hi,
Not to bad. What I done is take the wheels from the Mato units and fitted them to the heng long units so you now have separate springs and wheels with rubber tyres  soooo much better... Brian...

Yes like the Mato metal sets. Each swing/wheel have a spring allowing them to move independently of one another.

The Mato ones have two springs so work prototypically, the henglong ones are sprung and can move independently but don't use two separate springs like Mato.
