Heng Long KV-1 to KV-2 torro conversion

Post by Ryan Hall »

Hi all, I seem to be having issues with the conversion of a Torro KV-2 turret onto a Heng Long KV-1 hull. When I go to fire (BB), the gun elevates and no red light comes on to tell you if its firing, no gun effects and no recoil.
Could I please have some suggestions on what to do?

Sounds like the elevation and BB wires are crossed over.

Hi Ryan, and welcome. I just answered a post from you in Wolf's thread, but that was before I saw this so sorry for any confusion. I see you have made that first tank purchase but I'm still wondering where you're located. UK? US? Other?

As for your problem, take the three pin jst plug coming from the turret (it plugs into the daughter board under the hull top) and turn it around. That just may solve your problem! :)
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Sorry for the very late reply, I am located in the UK. It was my third tank actually, currently owning a Tiger 1 and T-34-85 before it.
