Tamiya leopard parts

Hi all. Been lurking for a while. I have an original tamiya leopard tank back from the 70's.
A couple of years ago I as at a help for heros show and I was asked to demonstrate it on the grass. This I happily dI'd. Bear in mind it is original so only forward and back left and right. Well after a couple of hours and 4 battery changes the tracks broke. When I got her on the bench she was missing several of the link connectors....the little bits with 2 holes in them. The tracks are metal ones. Its taken me 2 years to et her back up and running as this seems the only part I cannot find! Is there anyone making these? ?? Looked everywhere but no one lists them and I don't want to spend silly money on new tracks.
