Almost forgot.

Post by -no- »

Is it possible without replacing a multi function unit by heng long to change the sounds the tank emits.
Like would it be possible for maybe a cheap mp3 player or maybe some how connecting the unit to a computer and replacing the sound files.

Thanks.

I want to try hooking up an mp 3 player with a remote into a second speaker, and playing around like that.
All I was going to do was use the earphone jack to link the speaker.
Give it a go & let me know how you get on.

There is no way of altering the Syd H/L stuff. Best use an elmod or Clark type set up if you want perfection

There are a few sound cards (e.g. the Benedini TBS/Mini) that you can plug in in-line with the standard electronics for higher-quality customisable sound, but they're almost as expensive as a whole new electronics system. At that point you may prefer to replace the RX18 with an IBU and have complete control over the sound effects yourself, plus better driving and battling.
