The bogie mount and ridge? Nope not removable (unless you start hacking the chassis).

You'd foul the cables from the turret, also the speaker would be muffled by the upper. I put mine at the back as its right under the engine grates. As I said you can probably get a two inch speaker box where mine is.

The road wheel suspension part does come off, its a separate piece. Wanna know how I know? Cause when I pulled my tracks off I found the left center one loose, upon closer inspection I found the piece is broken in half and crazy glued to the side of the lower hull. Very not cool! I emailed Mato and am going to put the tank in its box till I hear back from them. I may be able to solder it back together but for $700 I don't feel I should have to fix ANYTHING on the tank! Also good luck with the screws they're all either cross threaded or stripped heads but they're all crazy glued as well!

For the price I paid for this tank its no where near the level of quality I would expect! I'm very disappointed with the quality of this tank.

Sounds like you got a Friday afternoon special! Those bits that hold the suspension on, are they just glued in or is there a grub screw in the hole?

Would be Intresting to see what sort of state other folks that have bought them got. All I can say is both the chassis and the m36 have met my expectations but I might have gotten lucky.

No screw that I could see they're held in with super glue.

I know they'll make things right, I'd be happy with replacement parts but I'll see what they say. But for now I put it all back together and put it in its box and back into the shipping box. Really bummed out.
