Hi from Australia

Post by Estnische »

Hi guys, just got myself a H/L Tiger 1 after seeing a series of vids by RC Mojo on YouTube. I've been doing a lot of research on what works and what doesn't, and been getting lots of help from an old member, teddyt.

Looking forward to doing a build and hopefully a winter camo version of Otto Carius' '213'.

Hallo my friend, Welcome to the Forum
You can never go far wrong with a Tiger 1. Most of us have built at least one and upgrades are available from a few cents to a few hundred dollars.
I hope you and your family are coping with the torrential rain,
I hate saying it but the weather in the UK right now is blissful, which can only mean that disaster is just round the corner. :lolno: :lolno:
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

The Gong is good now, but the weekend was a drama with wind driving rain everywhere including into our ceiling. We got off lightly compared to some unfortunate souls.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm eagerly awaiting my first package of bits from Ozarmour to start on some cosmetic stuff. :D

Hey Fury, I feel like we are starting down a well worn path with these Tigers, probably boring to the old hands, but exciting to us! I've been to-ing and Fro-ing around the sellers websites, working out which bundles of gear to get and trying to spend money gradually. But I've noticed the latest Heng Longs seem to have improved in many ways since the first ones with the old radios.
