AA Battery and Charger

Post by Stevie Beats »

I want to purchase some good AA rechargeables with a decent charger and I thought it would be interesting to see what set ups people are using for AA Batteries in their transmitters and what chargers.

I saw some 3800 ma Unicells on Ebay and wondered what they may be like. They were rather cheap and you do tend to get what you pay for.....

What would you recommend?

A word of warning about cheap batteries on eBay. I bought three 5000 Mah ones, they turned out to be about 2000mah?

There is a guy on YouTube who was testing AA batteries, the pack of nimh batteries he bought were supposed to be 2300mah, one was empty, no cells inside at all, the others were 300mah and Nicad's, not Nimh's? Some would not charge no matter what he did.

The simple reality is that there is no such thing as cheap batteries, but I suspect that you already know that. ;)

lidl sell rechargeable batteries in packs of 4 for £2.50 & are 2300mah,I use them in a 8 battery holder giving 9.6 volts & they last for ages in my tanks. The charger, tronic, was also bought from lidl & can charge 6 batteries at once.
