More 3-D 1/16 Armor Creations

Post by SCHWEREPANZER »

While heavily weighted toward the Sherman right now (which isn't so bad), there are some other interesting bits bits and bobs...and the field is growing. The future looks bright.

Is that Woz's page? Impressive - hadn't realised you could print in gold now too!

SW had an offer, design a piece of jewllery for a $15 voucher and I was already working on a few bullets so I thought why not.

Somebody else already did some but from what I've read they are very fragile and break too easily.

I have followed your creations on shapeways for some time, ---awesome!

A few questions for you, What printer do you use to get the fine details?

What software do you use?

Last one, Lets just say you have some real good friends from the website ( :D ) and they would like to get a "Kit" from you like the Challenger armor upgrade set, would you offer the whole set for one price?

Cheers!

I dont print any fine detail (I use Shapeways for that). Though I'm thinking of getting another printer for fine work. My printer is a Wanhao Duplicator 4x (Makerbot clone).

Software - I use Openscad and a bit of Blender.

I can do a Chally set if you don't mind waiting for a while. I've been away a lot this year and now I'm playing catch up with all the parts other people have ordered.

Woz,
Have you ever considered selling your files on Gambody or somewhere similar?

No. Once you sell the file then you've no control over it.
