New Section In Tank Builds

Post by FireflyKeith »

After todays discussion ;D Matt has sorted out the new child boards in the tank build section, so anybody who knows of any inaccurate parts on the out of the box new tanks please post them there, and we will then have a nice reference section for anybody who might want to carry out these mods  8) 8)

Cheers Keith

p.s. Great job Matt ;D

It certainly saves trying to remember the subject matter and who originally posted it.

For Keith and Matt, primarily...

Now that we have the new section up and running, it just remains for everyone to help populate it. I have noticed from time to time that a thread topic may get moved to a more appropriate location and this is probably the result of our eagle eyed moderators recognizing an improvement to our forum by doing so - either that, or it's a personal entertainment issue and they just enjoy messing with our minds. Before that expands to a whole new thread on its own...

There are probably a number of existing threads scattered in the forum which deal with some of the 'fix its' we have identified so far with our out of the box tanks. Would it be helpful for our moderators, as well as the forum membership at large, to have these existing threads moved to the new section? This would be a very time consuming task if left just to the moderators to tackle but may lend itself very well to a 'more eyes the better' approach.

If any of us runs across an existing thread dealing with a fix it out of the box issue, should we consider bringing the item to the moderators attention in some standard way? They could then simply review the item in question and make their decision for moving it or not. This way, no single individuals are being tasked with a potentially significant project and all of us have an opportunity to help tidy things up.

Best regards,

David

Nice idea David, yes if you see a topic you think should be in the new section please PM one of the mods and they will have a look and move it to the right place  ;)
