"TANKING CLOTHES" ?

Post by HERMAN BIX »

Lads, I know its the norm to have favorite fishing clothes- the ones your Mrs really wants to just burn, and other get-ups that we like to wear, repeatedly, for whatever reason(often without being washed in between outings !) but , do any of you have "tanking" clothes ??
I do, actually two sets that get worn like school art class days so I can get super glue, paint and the usual detrius of this hobby on them and simply not care .
My trouble is I am so used to putting either set on that when we 'have company' I just forget to change !!
They are really not presentable to the general population and have hols in some awkward places, but they are comfy and seem to enhance the mood :/ :haha: :shifty:

Not tank cloths but Military camo shirts. They are now so thin from washing that its time to buy some new ones. Makes great clothing to wear for messy jobs and since they are military surplus are very inexpensive at the local surplus store.

A T shirt and shorts. It's never cold enough in Ca. for long pants IMO.

I work for the railroad so most of my clothes are jeans and t-shirts so I don't care one way or the other.
